Day 01- Siliguri
Reception and assistance at Bagdogra airport follows
transfer to hotel in Siliguri. Spend the night at the
hotel.
Day 02- Darjeeling
Move to Railway Station to board the Toy Train for
Darjeeling. Reach Darjeeling at about 6 PM and transfer
to Hotel. Spend the night at Darjeeling.
Day 03- Darjeeling
A full day sight seeing of Darjeeling is arranged. It
starts with a visit to the Tiger Hill to watch the
Sunrise at about 4.30 am. On your way back, visit the
Ghoom monastery. Get back and have your breakfast. Sight
seeing continues after breakfast. Spend the night at
Darjeeling.
Day 04- Darjeeling/ Pemayangtse
Set out for Pemayangtse Monastery, via the famous Tukvar
tea gardens along the riverside of Rangeet. Pemayangtse
Monastery is located in the western part of Sikkim. Upon
arrival, check into hotel and overnight halt.
(Approx.120 km -5 hours)
Day 05- Pemayangste - Yuksom
Visit Pemayangtse Monastery after breakfast and drive to
Kheocheplari Lake and then to Yuksom, the trekking base
of Sikkim and very important for sightseeing. Have your
lunch and return to Pemayangtse in the evening. (80 km -
6 hours)
Day 06- Gangtok
Drive to Gangtok, the Capital town of Sikkim, via
Rabongla and the famous tea gardens of Sikkim, Temi Tea
Estate. Check in for overnight halt. (120 km-5 hours)
Day 07- Gangtok/ Enchey
Monastery
Explore the Gangtok city after breakfast. The places in
itinerary are the Enchey Monastery, Cottage Industries
along with visit to Research Institute of Tibetology and
the Do Drul Chorten (35 km/4-5 hours). Have your lunch
and visit the Rumtek Dharma Chakra Centre, Kaygu
Headquarters and return back to the hotel.
Day 08- Gangtok / Phodong
Monastery
On the eight day of the tour set out to visit the
Phodong Monastery in the North Sikkim highway, visiting
the Labrang Monastery enroute. In the evening return
back to Gangtok (45 km x 2 =6 hours).

Day 09- Bagdogra
On the ninth and the final day, you are driven back to
Bagdogra to catch the return Flight (120 kms-5 hours).
It marks the end of your North East India tour.
