Day-
01 Arrival at Delhi
Arrival at Delhi follows reception and transfer to hotel. A
morning tour of the city is organized covering the Laxmi
Narayan temple, India Gate (The memorial of martyrs) and the
Parliament House (The govt. head quarters). In the afternoon
explore the history of Delhi, covering Jama Masjid (The
largest mosque in Asia), Red Fort (The red stone magic), and
Gandhi memorial (The memoir of father of the nation). In the
evening, the light and sound show takes you to the past of
Delhi. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day- 02 Delhi/ Jaipur
In the morning, you are driven to Jaipur. Upon arrival,
check into the hotel. You have rest of the day at leisure,
which you can utilize in exploring the historic Pink city.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day- 03 Jaipur
In the morning ride an elephant to the Amber fort, while in
the afternoon a city tour is organized. The excursion
includes the City Palace (occupies a large area divided into
a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings and a perfect
blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture), the Royal
Observatory (An observatory with some rare qualities to its
credit), Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli, and the Bazaar. Overnight at
hotel.
Day- 04 Jaipur to Agra
In morning, drive to Agra, visiting the deserted town of
Fatehpur Sikri enroute. At Fatehpur, go down the memory lane
by visiting Jama Masjid, the Buland Darwaza, the Palace of
Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and the Panch Mahal. Upon arrival
at Agra, check into the hotel. Afternoon is free to give you
a feel of the city atmosphere. Overnight at hotel.
Day- 05 Agra/ Varanasi
Take a tour of the magnificent monument of love- the Taj
Mahal, the Red Fort, Itmad-ud-Daula's tomb and the tomb of
Akbar at Sikandra. Check out at 1200 hrs, from the hotel. In
the evening you are relocated to the Tundla railway station
to catch the train for Varanasi- the holy city. Overnight on
board.
Day- 06 Arrival at Varanasi
In the morning, the train arrives at the Mughal Sarai (Varanasi)
railway station. It follows transfer to hotel. Rest of the
day is at leisure. You can take an optional tour of Sarnath,
where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Overnight in
Varanasi.
Day- 07 Varanasi to Bhubaneswar
Watch the magnificent sunrise, while boating in the Ganges.
It is followed by a city tour, covering the Alamgir Mosque
or Beni Madhav Ka Darera, Dasaswamedha Ghat, Benares Hindu
University and the Bharat Mata temple. Check-out at 1200
hrs. Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening you are
transferred to the Railway Station to board a night train to
Bhubaneswar. Overnight on board.
Day- 08 Bhubaneswar
Morning arrive at Bhubaneswar follows transfer to hotel. For
rest of the day you are free for your own leisure
activities. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day- 09 Bhubaneswar to Konark/ Puri
Set out for Puri, visiting the Konark temple city enroute.
Upon arrival at Puri, check into the hotel. You can pursue
your own leisure activities as rest of the day is free.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day- 10 Puri
Visit the magnificent temples of Puri and pursue your own
leisure activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day- 11 Puri to Kolkata
Free morning is followed by checkout at 1200 hrs. In the
evening you are relocated to the railway station catch the
train to Kolkata. Overnight on board
Day- 12 Arrival at Kolkata
Train reaches Howrah (Kolkata) in the morning. It follows
transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 13 Kolkata/departure
In the morning, you are taken to airport for your return
flight.
