Day 01 : Arrival at Leh
After your arrival at the Leh airport, you will be welcomed
by our representatives. From there, you will be driven to
the hotel for a check in. In the evening, you will be
enjoying a leisurely walk around Leh bazaar. The night stay
will be at the hotel.
Day 02 : Leh
Sightseeing
The entire day will be reserved for visiting the numerous
monasteries of Ladakh. The day will start with a visit to
Thiksey monastery and end with the Shey Palace. The night
stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03 : Leh -
Chumathang - Tsomoriri
The drive to Chumathang will keep you occupied in the
morning. It is a hot spring, known to have medicinal
properties. Thereafter, you will leave for Tsomoriri Lake,
visiting Sumdah village on the way. The lake is a bird
watcher’s paradise, where you may see Bar Headed Goose,
Crested Grebe, Brahmini Duck, etc. For the night, you will
put up a tent by the lakeside.
Day 04 : Tsomoriri
Sightseeing
The entire day will be spent in sightseeing around the
Tsomoriri Lake. In the first half, you will visit the
Korzokbird village and the second half will be reserved for
bird watching around the lake. The night will be spent in
tents set up by the lakeside.
Day 05 : Tsomoriri
- Mahe - Puga - Tsokar - Tanglangla - Leh
In the morning, you will leave for Mahe village, one of most
scenic villages around Leh. From there, you will continue
your journey towards Puga Valley, which will be followed by
a visit to the Tsokar Lake and Thugke Gompa, via Polokongka
Pass. Thereafter, you will move towards Leh, making stoppage
at Tanglangla Pass, the second highest motorable pass in the
world. After reaching Leh, you will check into the hotel and
retire for the night.
Day 06 : Leh
Sightseeing
The first half of the day will be reserved for enjoying a
river-rafting trip on Indus River. You will be starting from
Phe and going up to Nimu. Late in the afternoon, you will
come back to the hotel, rest for some time and stay
overnight.
Day 07 : Leh -
Khardongla pass - Leh
The seventh day will be spent in an excursion trip to
Khardongla pass, the highest motor able pass in the world at
5600 m. By late afternoon, you will come back to the hotel.
The rest of the day will be spent at leisure. The night stay
will be at the hotel.
Day 08 : Leh -
Delhi
In the morning, you will leave for Delhi International
Airport. From there, you will catch a flight to your
destination.
