Day 01 : Arrival at Cochin

Our representative will receive and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel.

Day 02 : Cochin – Munnar

After breakfast you will be driven to the beautiful hill station of Munnar. Munnar is a beautiful and exotic place in Kerala. Munnar is home to many tea and coffee estates. Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel and spend rest of the time at leisure. Overnight stay will be at hotel.

Day 03 : Munnar

Breakfast follows full day at leisure to enable you to explore the beautiful surroundings on your own. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day04: Munnar – Periyar

After breakfast you will be driven to Periyar (90 km). Upon arrival at Periyar you will check into hotel. Periyar is known for its natural beauty and wildlife sanctuary. Periyar wildlife sanctuary houses wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and many other animal and plant life. After exploring the surroundings you can spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay will be at hotel.

Day 05 : Periyar – Kumarakom

Early morning we will take you for a boat cruise at the Periyar Lake. Periyar Lake is located in the heart of the Wildlife Sanctuary. While you cruise at the Periyar Lake you can sight the wild elephants, Asiatic deer, Black Buck and even tigers that come to the shores of the lake to drink water.
After breakfast we will drive through the winding "Ghats" that are home to tea plantations. The next destination of your Kerala houseboat tour is Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater village, located on the shores of the beautiful Vembanad Lake. In the evening you will have leisure time. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Kumarakom – Houseboat

After a brief leisure in the morning we will take you to the traditional rice boats (Kettuvallam) in the afternoon for your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes. While traversing across the placid backwaters you can relax in the tranquility. You will also get a chance to have a close look at the way of life and activity of the rural people. Enjoy the local meals on board the houseboat. Overnight onboard the houseboat.

Day 07 : Houseboat – Poovar

After breakfast on board the houseboat you will sail to Alleppey and later disembark at Puthenagady Jetty. After alighting from the houseboat you will be driven to Poovar. Poovar is a beautiful Island resort, surrounded by serene Kerala backwaters. Poovar is truly a window into paradise called Kerala. The whole area is rich with local flora that comprise of several species of spices, exotic flowers and coconut groves. Upon arrival, you will check-in at resort/hotel. Stay overnight at resort/hotel.

Day 08 : Poovar

After breakfast you will have the whole day at leisure, when you can pursue your own activities. Overnight stay will be at the resort/hotel.

Day 09 : Poovar – Trivandrum

You romance with the houseboats of Kerala ends as you come to the end of your Kerala houseboat tours. In the morning, you will be driven to Trivandrum for your flight/train for onward journey.
